The Beauvillon Mesteral range
Geographical location
Pays d'Oc. Shaly clay hillside soils.
The winemaking process
Produced from low-yield plots and processed separately in the traditional manner, the varietals are then blended to produce a fat, powerful, balanced wine.
Varietals:
Principally Merlot to give suppleness, plus Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon to give character and ensure longevity.
Tasting notes:
Red colour with a brilliant hue. An accentuated nose with notes of red fruit. Well-balanced, round palate with a long, aromatic finish.
Food & wine combinations:
Cold meats, steak, beef bourguignon and even venison in sauce. Serve between 16 and 18°C.
